HomeMy WebLinkAbout34067 / 86-252. _ August 21, 1986 (CARRIED PURPOSE: INITIATED BY: LOST R E V I S E D I/252 RESOLUTION LAID OVER WITHDRAWAN ) AUTHORIZE SALE OF INDUSTRIAL LAND/FENESTRA CORPORATION CITY ADMINISTRATION WHEREAS, Chamco, Inc. and Fenestra Corporation have negotiated the sale of 8.0955 acres of industrial park land in the Southwest Industrial Park at a purchase price of $75,000.00 pursuant to the provisions of an agreement between the City of Oshkosh and Chamco, Inc., and WHEREAS, to facilitate the sale of said land, the following terms and conditions need to be met: (a) No initial downpayment; (b) Payments to the City will run parallel with payments made by Fenestra to Chamco and will be based on level principal over a 5-year period; (c) The interest rate will be adjusted quarterly and shall be 2% below the prime rate as established by First National Bank of Chicago on the closing date; (d) The City will receive a mortgage from Fenestra Corporation in parity with Chamco and the Wisconsin Public Service Corporation who is also providing additional monies to consummate this transaction. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the sale of 8.0955 acres of industrial park land as shown in the attached survey is hereby approved upon the foregoing terms and conditions and that the proper City officials are directed�and authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary to effect the sale of said premises.
