WM1en Fetleral Funtls are involretl in the improvement, the iniliation and accomplishmenl of ihe impwvement will be sobjett to the applica�le Federal Aid Highway Acts antl Regulations ol the Fetleral HiqM1way AOminiitration, U.S. Deparlment of Transportation. 2. The Municipali[y will contribute antl pay to t�e Sta[e all cost incurretl by t�e S�ate in connnction with the improvement which I5 no[eligible �or State antl/or Fetleral funtl financing. 3. Fetleral aitl antl/or$tate highway tuntl financing will be limitetl to 75 per[ent (%) participation in lhe constmclion costs of the following items: (5[ate tuntls limitetl to State trunk highway routes and connecting itreets.) (a) T�e pavement,base,curb antl gulteq together with all gratling. (b) Ca[ch bazins ane inlets for surtace water arainage ot the imOrovement, with connections to the storm sewer main. (�) Construction enqineering intitlent to ins0ection and supervision of actual constmttion work. (a) oine� Structure B-70-107 and 4(a) S (b) belw 4. Work neressary to mmplete the improvement to be financetl enlirety by the Municipality or other utility or facility owner inclutles the tollowing items unless otherwise tle5ignate0 in 3(d) above: � (a) Storm sewer mains neceuary Forthe surface water tlrainage. (b) Consirvction or r¢placement of sitlewalks antl surfacing of private Eriveways. (c� New iretaliations or al[eration ot zheel lighting antl traftic signals or tlevices. Work necessary to mmplete the impmvement to be finantetl entirely by the Municipality or other utiiity or facility owner inclutles the followinq items. (a) New installations of or alteration of sanitary sewers antl<onnections.water, gas,electric, lelephone, telegrap�, (ire or Oolice alarm facili[ies. parking meters, anE similar utilities. (b) Damages to abutting pmperty due to change in siree[ or sitlewalk witlt�s, gratles or tlrainage. (�) Contlitioning, iirequireC, antl maintenance ot tletovr routes. (tl) Repair of tlamages to roatls or streets causetl by reason of their use in hauling materials incitlent to the improvement. (e) Other 6. The Distri�t Office of the Divizion of Highways will cooperate wilh antl ativise the Municipality Guring the survey antl plan aevelopment phase. T�e wst of any survey, plan, ana preconsVUttion enqineering untlertaken py the $tate, othe�than aEminist�a- tive eapenses, will be chargetl to the Muniupality. It is untlerstootl that, upon wmpletion of lhe plans anG prior�o Ne exewtion ot the mnhact for the work, the project will be subject to further agreement between the Municipality antl Ne State with respect to the detail ot design, approval of plans, and if Fetleral aia is to be usetl, certain requirements to satisfy the provizions of the Federal Aid Highway Hct and [he regulations issuetl pursuant thereto. It is furlher agreed by Lhe Municipality that: (a) I[will maintain, at its own cosl antl expense,all portions ot [he proje<t thal lie within its juristlic[ion for sucn main- tenance Mrough statutory requirements, in a manner satisfactory to Ne State or the Federal Highway Administration or balh, or their authorizetl re0resentatives, antl wiil make ample provision for such maintenan<e each year.
