Dear Bill:
The Oshkosh Area School District is proceeding in its efforts to develop a
plan to pick up the nursing services that were cut from the city budget,
effective June 30, 1987. In developing this pian, our nurses have informed me
that there is a possibility that the city will not need some of its current
nursing equipment since services to school-age youngsters will be eliminated
for the most part in the coming year. For this reason, we are asking that the
city consider transferring the following equipment to the school district for
its use in providing services to young people as of July 1 , 1987:
7 . Audiometers
2. Otoscopes
3. Student records and files as needed to maintain records
that have been estabished by the city.
4. Snellen charts
5. Portable scaly(s)
6. Blood pressure equipment (for WIAA physicals)
7. TB testing supplies
I urders.and tha: tFis is an unusual requesL Howzver, it is our intent to
minimize ihe cost the school district will experience in assuming the respon-
sibility for this nursing program. I would appreciate your giving this matter
serious consideration and responding to us when practical.
Sincerely,
'Ityy" ' "" 'YL
