Res. #580 BETfrEEN WIISI]EBAGO CODNPY DEPAa2T^SENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES AND City of Oshkosh This agreement is sade and entered into this ZOth day of March 1987, by and between Winnebago County Department of Social Services, hereina°ter referred to as County, and City of Oshkosh , hereinafter zefezred to as OshkosY. , for the period from March 1, 1987to April 1, 1988 In CONSIDERATION of the mutual Covenants Contained herein, it is heLeby agreed as follows: 1. That 'R�/Those site �s) in Anpendix A (attached) of this agzeement, which :£�aze within the control and jurisdiction of Oshkosh , have/ has been authorized as a work relief project (s) by the Winnebago County Dept, Social 5ervices Boazd. It is hezeby aqreed that the County may assign genem 1 relief recipients to labor at such wosk re:ief project(s). 2. That the County s1a11 assign no more then 10 relief recipients to labor at each vork relief pzoject site at any one time. 3. That oshkosh agzees to pzovide supervision to any relief recipient assign to such project by the County. . 4. That �thx�Gh shall assign a person employed by it to each worksite who shall be responsible from providing woxk supervision to those recipients assigned to labor at such pzoject. � ♦ 5. That oshkosh agrees to provide periodic reports to the County of the n�er of houzs each relief recipient ha5 labored at such project and as to the quality of labor performed by the recipients. 6. That Oshkosh shall be responsible for providing transportation to and from such project for relief recipients assigned to such pzoject by the County. 7. That Winnebago County shall be responsible for providing worker's compensation insurance for the benefit of zelief zecipients assigned by the County to labor on such project. 8. That Oshkosh has the right to accept oz reject, with reasonable justification, those relief recipients assigned by the County to labor on such project. , -14a - - -- - ._ � � Res. #580 � 9. That this agreement may be cancelled by either party upon ten (10) ' days prior written notice to the opposite party. 10. Courity enters into this agreement pursuant to and by aut5ority of the 47innebago County Board of Social Services. Oshkosh enters into this agreement pursuant to and by authority of the City Council 11. Nothing contained in this agreement shall be construed to supersede the lawful powezs or duties of either party. " Our intent is and our current practice is that when a relief zecinient is . zssigned to a work relief pzojec: site, the recinient must provide theze own transportation to the site assigned. Once at the site, if there is a need fo= the recipient to be transnorted to s�e othez site or azea and transpoYa�ion is needed, then the Work Project Site would be zesponsible £or the transportation needed. When the woxk period is coapleted the recinient would be returned to the original work project site assigned and £rom that point -" is zesponsible for theze own transportation home. � �� Zt is not our intent or policy to have someone £rom the City come to the _, .
