HomeMy WebLinkAbout34741 / 88-437 FeDruary 18 , 1988 /{437 RESOLUTION (CARRIED _______ LOST _______ LAID OVER _______ WITHDAAWN _______) PURPOSE: APPROVE AGAEEMENT WITH TOWN OF BLACK WOLF AND BLACK WOLF SANITARY DISTflICT INITZATED HY : CITY ADMINISTAATION WHEREAS, the City of Oshkosh has been requested by the Town of Black Wolf Sanitary District to enter i�to an appropriate agreeme�t for purposes of treating sanitary sewage presently being developed by the district and to authorize historic growth patterns within the district , and WHEREAS, said agreement will not adversely affect the growth of the City of Oshkosh but will contribute to the protection of Lake Winnebago and the water table in the Oshkosh area , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the appropriate officers are authorized and directed to enter into an appropriate agreement with the Town of Black Wolf Sanitary District and the Town of Black Wolf to provide for City of Oshkosh treatment of sanitary sewer discharge generated in the Town of Black Wolf. If areas of the District are annexed to the City of Oshkosh from time to time, the allotted new residential connections shall be permitted within the area remaining in the �istrict. 4. Future atlotments of residential connections shall be es- tablished for 10 year periods and shall fairly reflect growth trends in the District and City areas, demand for connections in the District, treatment capacity, as well as the intent of this Agreement as set forth in the Preamble.
