Home My WebLink About34871 / 88-63 R E V I S E D May 19 , 1988 1163 RESOLUTION (CARRIED ______ LOST ______ LAID OVEFl ______ WITHDFAWN ______) PUAPOSE: INITIAL RESOLUTION - 1988 SEALCOATING PROGRAM INITIATED BY : DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS BE IT RESOLVED by the Commo� Council af the City of Oshkosh that the 1988 Sealeoating Program for the city streets , as shown on the attaehed list , is hereby approved . BE IT FORTHER RESOLVED that the abutting and benefited property be charged for the cost of such work as a special eharge for current services untler Section 66.60(6) of the Wisconsi❑ Statutes but not more tha❑ O�e and UO/ 100 Dollars ($1.40) per front foot for streets. HE IT FURTHER AESOLVED that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to schedule public hearings before the Common Council concerning this matter and shall publish a notice of saitl hearings in the official City neuspaper at least twenty (20) days prior to the date of said hearings. A copy of such ❑otices shall be mailed to every i�terested person whose post office address is known or can , with reasonable tliligence, be aseertained at least ten ( 10) days before the hearings. Sueh notice shall specify that on a certain date hearings will be held by the Common Council as to whether the service in question shall be performed at the cost of the property owner, but at a cost of not more tha❑ One and 40/ 100 Dollars ($1 .40) per front foot for streets.
