PURPOSE: DETERMINATION OF NECESSITY - lll STATE STREET
INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission has certified to the Common Council of
the City of Oshkosh Modification #2 of the Redevelopment Plan for the Oshkosh
Centre Redevelopment Project Area No. 1 and said project has been approved by the
Oshkosh Common Council ; and
WHEREAS, the completion of said project requires the acquisition of
property ]ocated within the boundaries of the project; and
WHEREAS, the acquisition as proposed in the 1987-88 Final Statement
of Community Development Objectives and Projected Use of Funds has received final
approval by the U.S. Department of Nousing and Urban �evelopment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that the property described as follows:
East 65.75 feet,
Lot 6, Block 21, L M. Miller's First Addition, 8th Ward,
City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin (Commonly
known as lll State Street)
is located within the boundaries of Modification #2 of the Redevelopment Plan for
the Oshkosh Centre Redevelopment Project Area No. 1 ; and in order for said project
to be completed, it is necessary for the City to acquire said property. It is
therefore determined by the Oshkosh Common Council that the acquisition of 111
State Street, described above, is hereby determined to be necessary pursuant to
the provision of Section 32.07(2) of the Wisconsin Statutes.
