PURPOSE: ESTABLISH FAIR MARKET VALUE AND AUTHORIIE
PURCHASE OF PROPERTY AT 735 W. SIXTH AVENUE:
TRANSFER FUNDS
INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh has previously determined
the necessity of acquiring certain property for expansion of Franklin Park; and
WHEREAS, an appraisa] has been made on the property to be acquired, which
is more particularly described as follows:
CITY REPLAT #3, Lot 106, 6th Ward, City of Oshkosh,
Winnebago County, Wisconsin
(735 W. 6th Ave. )
WHEREAS, the property and interest to be acquired includes land and
buildings, if any, exclusive of equipment and fixtures both movable and
immovable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Counci] of the City of Oshkosh
that the Common Council certifies the work of the appraiser has been performed
in a competent manner according to applicable State and Federal laws, policies
and requirements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fair market value for the above described
property is hereby established at TWENTY THOUSAND FNE HUN�RED AN� 00/!00 �OLLARS
($20,500.00) .
BE I7 FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are authorized and
directed to transfer the sum of $20,500.00 from Account No. 310-550, General Fund
Equity to account No. 361-894 -- Park Improvement Fund, Franklin Park, to be repaid
from future borrowing.

At your r�uest, I have made an estimate of �ricet value of 735 W. 6th Avenue,
Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Since yw are familiar with the neighborfiood, maps or neighhorfiood descriptions
are urv�led.
The hase is plus one hundred years old. It is of fra�e construction with
asphatt sidirg. ihe baserent is storie in good repair. The fumace is a new
high efficiency type. The electric service is old substardard sixty anp
service.
There are two roa� upstairs with entrance thruugh the bathrcan, with the tub
laated under the sWirs. ihe upsWirs consists of one bedrum and a storage
roan. The hwse is in good condition for its age with imcurable functiona]
obsolescence in the form of the previously irentioried bathrvcm, a very small
kitchen, and practically unusable upstairs except for storage. There is ra
garage, ho.�ever; there is a 11' x 17' shcd for storage.
It is rtr cpinix that the mzrk=t �a;ue of this p�c��y as of tnis datz is
$Z5.000.00.
I have listed four cmparable properties which have recently sold which
justify this estir�te.
