OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO YARD WASTE The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 23-4(N) of the Oshkosh Municipal Cod2 perLainlnq to yard waste is repealed and recreated to read as follows: (N) Grass clippings, vines and leaves must be kept separale from all other solid waste and placed in biodegradeable paper or plastic bags clearly marked with a factory seal as such. SECTION 2. This ordinance shal] be in full force and effvcl from and after its passage and publication. That Section 23-4 (N) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to yard waste is repealed and recreated to read as follows: (N) Grass clippings, vines and leaves must be kept separate from all other solid waste and placed in biodegradeable paper bags clearly marked with a factorx seal as such, or in biodegradeable plastic bags containinq seven (7) percent cornstarch and clearly marked with a factory seal as such, or in a reusable, properly banded and and tagged container whose capacity does not exceed 3o gallons and whose combined weight does not exceed 50 pounds. (1) Each reusable container must have a bright red band secUrely fastened around the upper one- third of the container and must also have attached a permit tag. The fee for the tag shall be Five Dollars ($5. 00) for ten (lo) pick-ups. SECTION 2. That Section 23-4 (N) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to yard waste is repealed and recreated to read as follows: (N) Grass clippings, vines and leaves must be kept separate from all other solid waste and must be placed in reusable, properly banded and tagged containers whose capacity shall not exceed 32 gallons and whose combined weight does not exceed 50 pounds. (1) Each reusable container must have a bright red band securely fastened around the upper one-third of the container and must also have � attached a permit tag.
