PURPOSE: AOTHORIZE SENIURS CENTER FACILITY STODY
INITIATED BY: DEPARTMENT OF COMML7NITY DEVELOPMEN'P
WHEREAS , the City oP Oshkoeh has heretoYore advertised Por
Requests for Proposals Por pro£esslonal services to undertake a
£eaeibility study relative to current and future needs oP the Oshkosh
Seniors Center; and
WHEREAS, the Pour Pinalist consulting firme made presentations to
and Were lntervleWed by the Ad Hoc Seniors Citizen Center Committee ;
and
WHEREAS, after due consideration, the Ad Hoc Seniors Citizen
Center Committee recommended that Planning Associates , Inc. , 8025
Excelsior Drlve , Madison, Wisconsi❑ and Thern Design Centre , Inc . ,
Route 2 , Box 151C, Waupaca, Wisconsin, Ue hired ,Jointly to undertake
said £easibility study .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City
of Oshkosh that Planning Aseociates , Inc. and Thern Design Centre ,
Inc . be hired ,�ointly to undertake a feasibility study relative to
current and £uture needs oY the Oshkosh Seniors Center, per the
attached Agreement and Scope oP Services, and that the proper City
of£icials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into eaid
Agreement for the purpose of eame.
