Home My WebLink About35417 / 89-126 June 15, 1989 # 126 RESOLUTION (CARRIED IAST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: FINAL RESOLUTION - 1989 SEALCOATING PROGRAM INITIATED BY: DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS � WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held on June 15, 1989, before the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh as to whether sealcoating of certain streets proposed to be done in 1989 should be performed at a cost to the property owner; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that special charges for current services for sealcoating the streets listed on the attached notice be levied against the abutting property according to the attached drawings which are hereby adopted and approved with the following modifications: 1. A. delete Lake Rest Avenue B• delete Minerva Street D: delete W. 21st Avenue E. F. G. H. 2 . That the charges to be made against the abutting propertx for current services under Section 66. 60(16) of the Wisconsin Statutes shall be an amount equal to the cost of such services, but not exceeding the sum of $1.40 per front foot for the streets. 3 . That the cost to be charc�ed to corner lots shall be as follows: the full cost thereof with a deduction of 50� on the front footage on the long side of the corner lot providing that this deduction shall not apply to that portion of the corner lot which extends beyond 150 feet of depth. This deduction for corner lots shall be based upon how the pro�erty was platted, except where the platted corner lots are subdivided, the deduc- tion shall be based on ownershig. � 4 . That for all parcels of land under one ownership which extend from a street to a parallel street (where said streets are located within 200 feet of each other) , the current service charge for sealcoatin on each such street adjacent to such property shall be at 75� of the normal charge. 5. That plans and specifications for said sealcoating pro- gram are hereby confirmed.
