A GENERAL CIRPINANCE t>F THE CITY OF OtiHKOSH ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY
IN THE CITY UF t)SHKC)SH AND SPECIFICALLY TO THE 6TH WARD OF SAID
CITY .
The Common Council of tlie City Qf Ushl�ash do ordain as follows :
WHEREAS, an ann�xation petition duly circulated has �iez-etofore
been signed Uy the owners of all t�ie real pi•operty within such
territory and all of the electors residing in said terx•itory; and
WHEREAS, Section fi6 . C121( 12) of t�ie Wisconsin Statutes allows for
petition to Ue filzd without a notice of intention to circulate in an
ar�nexation Uy unanimous anproval ; and
WHEREAS, said annexation j»t�t1011 togetlier wit�i a d��criL�tioii of

such territory and its x•elation to the municipalities involved , having
been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Ushkosh and the Town of
Algoma ; and
WHEREAS, a copy af said annexation petition together with a
description of the territory to Ue annexed an�-� a scale map having been
mailed to t}ie Directot' t�f PIc3lltllrig FUI1CtlOI1 , Department of Resource
Development, State of Wisconbiii and t�1e appropx•iate Sc}�ool District
Clerk within fiv� (5} days of the filing of said netition ; and
WHEREAS , not more than one hundred twenty ( 12G) days have lapsed
since the filiiig of the annexation petition ; and
WHEREAS , the Director of the Planning Function of the Department
of Resource Development of the State of Wisconsin has i�sued his
opinion t}iat the annexation is not contrat•y to the publi�. interest;
and
WHEREAS, the petitioners have re�3uested that the annexation
ordinance temporarily designate the classification of the annexed area
for zoning purposes ; and

WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the City of Clshkosh has
recommended that the said property be t�mporarily zoned as follows :
R-1 Single Family Residence
NUW, THEREFURE, the Common Council of the City of C�shkosh do
ordain as follows :
SECTIt�N 1 . The following describsd territory, pursuant to a duly
circulat�d and filed annexation petition for direct annexation is
hereby annexed to an� made part of the City of Clshkosh, a municipal
corporation located in Winnebago County, more specifically to the
6th Ward of said City and is annexed far school purposes also and
is hereby made a part of the City School District, and subject
to Wisconsin Statutes and the amendments thereto;
A part of the Southeast Quarter (SE}) of the Southeast Quarter (SE})
and the Southwest Quarter (SW}) of the Southeast Quarter (SE}) of Section
Twen�y (20), Township Eighteen (18) North, Range Sixteen (16) East, Town
� of Algoma� Winnebago County, Wisconsin, described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the South line of said Section Twenty (20)
870.10 feet West of the East line of the SE� of said Section 20 and being
the true point of beginning; running thence N.89°-16'-29"W. 474.90 feet,
along the South line of the S�4 of said Section 20 to a point 1345.U0 feet
West of the East line of the SE4 of said Section 20, and being a point 12.50
feet East of the Southwest Corner of Cert-ified Survey P1ap. 1660; running
thence N.00°-27'-07"W. 1329.16 feet, along a line parallel to t}�e IJest line
of L-he SE� of the S�� of said Section 20 to a point on the North line of
tl�e South z of the SE4 . of said Section 20, being a point 12.50 feet �ast
of the Northwest Corner of Lot 3 of said Certifi.ed Survey P1ap No. 1660;

SECTIC)N Z . Sections 1-�8 , 1-29 , 1(1-1 anc.9 1C1-3 af the Oshkosh
Municipal C�de partaining to Boundaries , Wards , Polls , Benchmarks are
hereby amended so as to reflect the provisions of this C)rdinance and
the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to make
such chang�s .

SECTIC�N 3 . The proper City officials are hereby authoriaed and
directed ta comply with the fallowing requirements of Section
66 . 021(8) of the Wisconsin Statutes and the City Clerk shall give
written n�tic� to the appropriate Tawn Clerk af the acc�ptance of the
annexation petitian and the adoption of this Urdinance .
SECTIC)N 4 . That said property hereinab�ve describ�d is hereby
temporarily zoned as fo�lows :
R-1 Single Family R�sidence
SECTIC)N 5 . That this C)rdinanc� shall Ue in full force and effect
from and after its passage and publication.
