REGIONAL SUSTAINABILITY INDICATOR PROJECT Ms. Williams provided background on work being completed by the Sustainable Communities Network of the Fox Valley to incorporate sustainability indicators into the LIFE Study Reports currently being updated by the Fox Cities and Southern Winnebago County. Ms. Hamzé suggested the group consider using remote sensing data to evaluate the diversity of tree species because data would include both private and publically managed trees. She also noted adding indicators on water and air quality would provide additional insight for communities. Ms. Bogden Muetzel felt an indicator should be added to evaluate the diversity of voter participation in addition to tracking the diversity of participation on elected and appointed boards.
