PURPOSE: ESTABLISH FAIR MARKET VALUE AND AUTHOR�IZE PURCHASE OF SAME
INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION
PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Approved 6-0
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh has previously determined
the nece`ssity of acquiring certain property for right-of-way purposes for the
proposed S.T.H. "44"/Washburn Street improvement project; and
�WHEREAS, an appraisal has been made on the property to be acquired, which is
more particularly described in the attached "Exhibit A" ; and
WHEREAS, a review appraisal has been submitted to the Common Council in
accordance with applicable State and Federal laws; and
WHEREAS, the property and interest to be acquired includes land and buildings,
if any, exclusive of equipment and fixtures both movable and immovable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Comon Council of the City of Oshkosh
that the Common Council certifies the work of the appraiser has been performed in
a competent manner according to applicable State and Federal laws, policies and
requirements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fair market value for the property to be
acquired, as described in the attached "Exhibit A" , is hereby established at
EIGHTY-NINE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FORTY-EIGHT AND 00/100 DOLLARS ($89, 148.00) .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are authorized and
directed to purchase said property and execute all documents necessary to
consumate this transaction. Money for this purpose is appropriated from Account
No. 780991 - TIF #7 Streets.

Part of the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 33, T1SN, R16E, Town of Al�oma,
Winnebago County, Wisconsin, described as Lot 3 of Certified Survey Map No.
293, Register of Deeds, more fully described as follows : Beginning at a
point on the N line of the SE 1/4 of said Section 33 that is 1016.15 ft.
N 89°-03' -12" W of the NE corner of the SE 1/4 of said Section 33; from that
point running S 1°-13' -27" W 266.87 ft. to the NWly right-of-line of S.T.H.
"44", thence S 54°-16'-26" W along said right-of-way line, 12.51 ft. , thence
N 1°-13' -27" E 274.34 ft. to the N line of the SE 1/4 of said Section 33;
thence S 89°-03' -12" E along said 1/4 Section line, 10.00 ft, to the said
point of beginning, together with existing parcel surveyed and described
August 20, 1964 by T.E. Stearns as follows : Commencing at the NW corner
of the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4, thence E along the N line of said quarter a
distance of 400.00 ft. , thence due S 285. 7 ft. to the centerline of S.T.H.
"44", thence SWly along the centerline of said Highway 100.00 ft. , thence
due N to the N line of said quarter a distance of 346.3 ft. , thence E along
said N line to the place of beginning. Said parcel contains 0.58 acres ,
more or less , and except that portion used for Highway purposes.
