HomeMy WebLinkAbout91-211 � � R E V I S E D MAY 2, 1991 91-211 RESOLUTION (CARRIED LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: AUTHORIZE JURISDICTIONAL OFFER - 2162 STATE ROAD "44" INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh has approved a relocation order for right-of-way improvements for S. Washburn Street in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's proposed S.T.H. ''44"/U.S.H. "41" improvement project; and WHEREAS, in order for said project to be implemented it is necessary to acquire property; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Common Council to be necessary to acquire this property pursuant to the provisions of Section 32.07 of the Wisconsin Statutes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to issue a Jurisdictional Offer in the amount of $101 ,408 on the following property: All that part of the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 33, T18N, R16E, Town of Algoma, Winnebago County, Wisconsin, lying N and W of the highway known as State Highway "44", except the following: Commencing at the NW corner of said NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4, Section 33, T18N, R16E; thence E 24 rods, 4 ft. ; thence S parallel to the W line of said NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 to the centerline of said Highway "44"; thence SWIy along the centerline of said Highway to the W line of said NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4, Section 33, T18N, R16E; thence N to the point of beginning. Also excepting therefrom that portion thereof conveyed for highway purposes as contained in those instruments recorded in the Winnebago County, Wisconsin Registry in Vol . 881 on Page 437 and Vol . 1298 on Page 270. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that money for this purpose is hereby appropriated from: Acct.
