PURPOSE: SIDEWALK PROGRAM
INITIATED BY: DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh
as follows:
1. That sidewalks be constructed according to the
established grade pursuant to Section 66. 615 of the Wisconsin
Statutes, and the ordinances of the City of Oshkosh on the
follawing �ocaticns:
ABBEY AVENUE, north side, from 80 to 360' west of Greenfield Tr.
south side, from 200 to 435.57' west of Greenfield Tr.
TAFT AVENUE, south side, N. Campbell Road west 100'
NORTH CAMPBELL ROAD, west and south side, Taft Ave. to Dempsey Tr.
east side, Dempsey Trail to Witzel Avenue
WEST SOUTH PARK AVENUE, south side, S. Knapp Street west 384 .99'
SOUTH OAKWOOD ROAD, west side, from West 20th Avenue north
to 615.86' north of Windhurst Drive
2 . The owner of each lot or parcel where sidewalk does not
exist and abutting on said streets, shall cause the sidewalk to
be constructed in front of their premises by July 10, 1991.
3 . If the owner fails to comply within the time specified,
the City Manager shall cause such construction to be done at the
expense of the owner, by contract let to the lowest responsible
bidder, said cost to be collected and the City reimbursed as
provided in Section 25-61 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code.
4 . The City Manager is directed to serve a copy of this
resolution upon each owner by certified mail on or before June
14, 1991. In case the owner cannot be found, a copy of this
resolution shall be published in the official newspaper of the
City as a Class 1 notice under Chapter 985 of the Wisconsin
Statutes.
