HomeMy WebLinkAbout25. 14-549 DECEMBER 9, 2014 14-549 RESOLUTION (CARRIED__7-0_____LOST________LAID OVER________WITHDRAWN________) PURPOSE: APPROVE 2015 ACROSS THE BOARD MARKET INCREASE FOR REGULAR NON-REPRESENTED EMPLOYEES INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the bi- weekly compensation schedule for regular non-represented employees is: 1) Adjusted at the beginning of the respective pay period that corresponds with the date indicated to provide an across the board market increase as listed below and 2) Approved. Effective Date Percentage Increase January 1, 2015 2.00% CITY HALL 215 Church Avenue P.O.Box 1130 Oshkos5 903-1130 City of Oshkosh � � OIHKOIH MEMORANDUM Date: December 5, 2014 To: Mayor and Members of the Common Council From: John Fitrpatrick, Assistant City Manager/Director of Administrative Services Re: 2015 Across the Board Market Increase for Regular Non Represented Employees In concert with your decisions made regarding the 2015 budget, this memo and the corresponding costing information is being provided to you to formalize the 2% Across the Board increase directed by you for non-represented employees. Included with this memo is the original information that was provided to you in July for budgeting purposes as well as additional costing in the "cast forward costing" format we develop for labor agreements. This additional information was requested by Mayor Tower. As part of that request Mayor Tower also asked that we either add or remove the WRS prior service element that is now part of our debt service, for comparative purposes. Please refer to the assumptions listed on the bottom of this document for more specific information related to the prior service consideration as well as others.
