L. MOTION TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION (City Manager's Office, Room 402, City Hall)
A) The Common Council for the City of Oshkosh may convene into closed session
pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(g) of the Wisconsin Statutes to confer with legal
counsel who will give legal advice concerning strategy to be adopted in anticipation
of litigation in which the City may become involved pertaining to a claim related to a
promissory note executed by the Redevelopment Authority for the City of Oshkosh
for property owned by the Redevelopment Authority located at 362 Michigan Street
(Former Boatworks Property) in the City of Oshkosh; and,
B) Pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(e) of the Wisconsin Statutes for the purpose of
negotiating the acquisition of public property located at 43 East 7th Avenue where
competitive and bargaining reasons require a closed session; and,
C) Pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(c) of the Wisconsin State Statutes to discuss the
mid -year review of the City Manager an employee over which the Common Council
has jurisdiction and exercises responsibility.
