Priorities for the Month:
Distribute 2014 directory
Complete all changes for directory listings on the website
Promote 2014 retention grant application
Put together a formal letter to include in recruitment folders
Put together packet folders for downtown visits
Update individual website pages
Monitor BID intern
Put together March’s monthly gift card promotion and featured business participant
Develop and send the monthly newsletter
Follow up meetings/calls to downtown businesses in regards to the gift card program
Send out email of advertising opportunities & road closures to mass email list
Put all advertising medias in place for the month
Committee Reports:
Marketing Consortium
Sent out prior minutes and agenda
Collect 2014 membership donations
Attended the monthly meeting
Beautification
Held our monthly meeting
In the process of working on signage for Opera House Square
Received notification that trash receptacles will be delivered: March 18th
Retention
Put together a Letter of Agreement for Dave Sparr’s approved retention grant
Announced and passed out grant applications at the Marketing Consortium meeting
Recruitment
Met with 1 potential RFG client
Visited Downtown West Bend
Sent out some packets via mail to retail clothing businesses on 3-13 (will do follow up
calls in late March)
Other Highlights
Met with Jeff Bollier for our monthly meeting
Attended the Special Permit meeting for upcoming events
Other Projects
Focus on recruitment for spring 2014; research other downtowns
Change long titles on individual pages of the website
Add store hours for individual businesses on the website
