THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this ('0 day of April , 197 9 ,
by and between GIBSON COMPANY, INC. of
609 North Main Street, Oshlcosri,-W1 )49u1 , party of the first part, and the
CITY OF OSHKOSH, a municipal corporation located in Winnebago County, Wisconsin,
hereinafter referred to as the "City", and party of the second part.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh by resolution duly
adopted on the 5th day of April , 197 9 , accepted the bid of the first
party and authorized and directed the proper City officials to enter into an agree-
ment with the party of the first part for:
ONE 1/2 TON PICKUP FOR SEWERAGE UTILITY
$5,450.00 Trade-In: 1967 Chev. 4 door sedan
Big 10 Chev. Fleetside
With Trade-In
according to the specifications and bid for same on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to said resolution of the Common Council of the
City of Oshkosh, the parties hereto agree as follows :
1 . That the party of the first part will furnish same to the City, all in
accordance with the specifications and bid on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. That no assignment of this agreement or of any rights thereunder by
said party of the first part, shall be valid without the written consent of the City;
and that this document including the specifications and bid , constitutes the entire
agreement between the parties hereto and that any understanding either oral or written,
not a part hereof shall not be binding on either party.
3. That in consideration thereof, the City will pay to the first party
the sum of $ 5,450.00 , upon presentation of a proper voucher, and
delivery and acceptance by the City in conformity on said specifications and bid.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this agreement to be
signed by the proper officers of each party and their corporate seals to be hereunto
affixed all on the day and year first above written; then if first party is a cor-
poration of partnership, the signing of this agreement shall constitute a warranty by
the person(s) so signing the proper authority so to do.

SPECIFICATIONS
1/2 TON PICKUP TRUCK FOR SEWERAGE UTILITY
The bidder will furnish metal body 1/2 ton Pickup Truck with a 8-cylinder engine
capable of supplying power to drive the vehicle. Following are MINIMUM specifi-
cations:
1 . GVW 6000#
2. Wheel Base 131"
3. Engine - 302 C. I .D.
4. Springs - Heavy duty, front 3400# and rear 4000#
5. Wheels and Tires - Five (5) standard truck type tires with tubes L78-15,
mud and snow on rear wheels only.
6. H.D. Shock Absorbers, double acting, front and rear
7. Full length exhaust system
8. Brakes - Power
9. Transmission Automatic
10. Power Steering
11 . Battery - 70 amp hour
12. Alternator and Regulator - 40 amps at 1900 Engine R.P.M.
13. Dash Mounted Ammeter with marking -60 0 +60, oil and temp. gauges
14. Heater and Defroster Heavy duty deluxe
15. Body - Stepside steel pickup type, 8 ft. inside length; steel floor or
with steel skid strips. Cab to have rain drips above the doors.
16. Standard cab with heavy duty foam rubber seat cushions, tilting seat back
and dual sun visors
17. Rear View Mirrors - one inside and two outside mirrors, 7" X 10" low profile
18. Bumpers - Standard front but the rear a step bumper with trailer hitch.
19. Self-Cancelling Directional Signals - front and rear; hazard four (4) way
switch, and back up lights
20. Dual 2 speed electric windshield wipers and washers.
21 . Oil Filter - Replaceable cartridge type.
22. Dry Type Air Cleaner.
23. Painted City of Oshkosh Yellow (DuPont Dulux #75306) .
24. Cross-box to straddle pickup - adjacent to rear edge of cab to be same color --
as truck
25. Truck to be Ziebart rustproofed.
