Item No. 1
Provide two 20—inch diamter 90° MJ fittings and all necessary appurtences
required to connect the two new 20" diameter high service discharge lines
with the existing 24" high service PCCP water main.
Item No. 2
Provide insulation over the 14" sump discharge line running from the south
wall of the new pump station to the existing sanitary manhole. Insulation
should meet the requirements as specified in specification section 7200.
Insulation should be 2" thick, 16" wide, centered over the sump line , and
be placed 3" above the line.
Item No. 3
Provide additional labor and material necessary to dewater the existing 30"
PCCP intake line running from Millers Bay to the Filtration Plant. Dewatering
required in order to proceed with the necessary connections to the new pump
station.
Item No. 4
Provide additional labor and materials necessary to reroute the new 30"
D.I. piping connecting the high service tanks in the new pump station
with the existing north reservoir. Layout to be as shown in the drawings
transmitted from HNTB to Fluor Construction Co. Inc. by letter of
transmittal dated November 30, 1985.
