If you have any questions regarding the requirements of this notice please contact me immediately at(920)236-5137. : Item# 1 Code ss 101.647 Complies No Comply By 11/04/2013 Description The owner of a dwelling shall install a functional carbon monoxide detector in the basement of the dwelling and on each floor level except the attic, garage, or storage area of each dwelling unit. Except as provided under par. (b)the occupant of the dwelling unit shall maintain any carbon monoxide detector in that unit. (b) If any occupant gives written notice to the owner that the carbon monoxide detector is not functional,the owner shall provide,within 5 days after receipt of that notice,any maintenance necessary to make that carbon monoxide detector functional. *`Install CO detectors. Item# 2 Code MUN 16-35A(4) Complies No Comply By 11/04/2013 , Description Every chimney and smoke pipe shall be adequately supported, reasonably clean and maintained in good state of repair. *'Abandon and cap the unused venting connection to the chimney. Item# 3 Code MUN 24-6.1 Complies No Comply By 11/27/2013 Description No person(s)shall discharge or cause to be discharged, any polluted waters such as stormwater,groundwater, roof runoff, subsurface drainage, or cooling water to any sanitary sewer. **At inspection it appears that two drain tiles are discharging to the floor drain. If there are drain tile presant a sump pit will be required to be installed. Contact a plumber to make the correction with permit. Item# 4 Code MUN 16-35A(1)(b) Complies No Comply By 11/27/2013 Description All rainwater shall be so drained from the roof/ground so as not to allow dampness inside the dwelling unit and so drained as not to allow standing water,water damage or other detrimental conditions in the dwelling. *"Tenant stated that water constantly leaked through the block walls into the basement and that water is also leaking into the front porch area. Water damage found in both areas. Both the roof and windows in the front porch are allowing water into the walls&ceiling. Item# 5 Code MUN 17-36A_ Complies No _ Comply By 11/27/2013 ; Description All building foundations shall be maintained. *"At inspection the block walls were found to be cracked and deflecting. Water appears to have been leaking in through several areas. Contact a foundation contractor to make repairs to the foundation walls. Item# 6 Code MUN 16-33A(6) _ Complies No Comply By 11/27/2013 Description Stairways in one and two family dwellings shall be in sound condition, equipped with proper handrails&guardrails installed in accordance with SPS 321.04 , safe to use and shall be equipped with treads and risers reasonably uniform. '"Repair the water damaged ceiling,wall and window areas on the front porch. Summarv It is the responsibility of every property owner to confirm compliance with these orders before the compliance date as specified. Please contact this office on or before the scheduled due date(s)to schedule a re-inspection of the property. If you are unable to make the necessary repairs by the listed compliance date(s), please submit a schedule of corrections to be made, along with competion dates. Submitting a schedule can result in extended periods of time to make repairs on those items not Life/Safety issues. �olations must be corrected and approved by the noted compliance dates of each item.
