Item# 1 Code MUN 16-35A(1)(a) Complies No Comply By 08/02/2012 IMMEDIATELY Description Every floor, floor covering,wall, ceiling, kitchen counters&tops, cupboards&exterior doors etc shall be kept in good repair. The side of the kitchen cabinet by the stove is covered with grease. Dead mouse found on a sticky trap in the sinkbase cabinet. Citation issued. Item# 2 Code MUN 16-35A(1)(c) Complies No Comply By OS/02/2012 IMMEDIATELY Description Ail windows in rental dwellings shall be capable of being opened and closed easily and remain open without the use of props. Windows shall be free of chipped, peeling paint, loose or missing glazing compound, broken panes of glass and be weather tight. The majority of the windows in the apartment are not operable. They have been painted either closed or in their open position. Citation issued. Item# 3 Code MUN 16-35A(3) Complies No Comply By 08/02/2012 IMMEDIATELY Description Cracked/damagedlleaking fixtures or other plumbing conditions,which create un-sanitary conditions or unusable fixtures, shail be replaced/repaired by a licensed plumber with permit. Repair the leaking handheld sprayer on the kitchen sink. Item# 5 Code MUN 16-37A(1) Complies No Comply By 08/02/2012 IMMEDIATELY Description Every owner of a dwelling shall be responsible for maintaining in a safe, clean and good condition all communal,shared or public areas of the dwelling and appurtenant premises. Clean up the garbage and glass by the front bushes. Empty the blue recycling cart. Cart was filied with trash and debris-not recyclables. Item# 6 Code MUN 16-35A(1)(a) Complies No Compiy By 08/29/2012 Description Every floor,floor covering,wall, ceiling, kitchen counters&tops, cupboards&exterior doors etc shall be kept in good repair. Check the ceiling tiles in the living room. Do not appear to be properly fastened or supported. Install a cover or a deadbolt for the Bowen St entrance door. Repair the garage door. Repair any damaged or missing shakes, soffit or fascia. Areas where paint is chipping/peeling shall be repaired by scraping and painting or covering with a weather resistant material. Item# 9 Code MUN 16-34A(3)(a) Complies No Comply By 08/29/2012 Description Every outiet and fixture shali be properly installed and shall be maintained in a good and safe working condition and shall be connected to the source of the electric power in a safe manner. Build an enclosure around the exposed NM cable in the front closet. Summarv A court date for allowing code violations on your rental property after having received prior notices for the same violations on this or other rental property has been scheduled for at 9:OOam, Rm. 194, 420 Jackson St All violations shall be corrected on or before their noted compliance dates unless an alternative schedule is agreed to. The corrections shall be re-inspected for compliance. Failure to complete the repiars by the noted compliance date or extension date will result in additional citations. Violations must be corrected and approved by the noted compliance dates of each item. Call for reinspections prior to concealment and/or occupancy. Upon completing the corrections,the owner/contractor/agent must sign and date at the bottom of this notice and return it to the Inspection Services Division by the Compliance Date of 8/29/2012 Office hours are Monday through 'day 7:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m. or by appointment.
