Subject: Permission to have dogs in park Dear Members of the Oshkosh Common Council, The Oshkosh Area Humane Society asks for your permission to have pet dogs in South Park for our 20th Annual Shelter Trek (dog walk) to take place on Saturday, September 7, 2013. All dogs attending this event must be on leash and under the control of their owner. We also ask for dogs to be current on vaccinations and licensed. No dogs in heat are permitted. All owners must clean up after their dogs. Bags for doing so are provided. In our 20 years of holding this event, OAHS has never experienced a serious problem with any of the dogs in attendance or their owners. If any dogs or their owners are disruptive or are causing a problem at the event, they will be asked to leave the event. The event includes many obedience and training professionals, agility and fly ball demonstrations, all done inside temporary fencing. The event runs from Sam -- noon and is fun for the whole family including the family dog. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Cheryl Rosenthal Oshkosh Area Humane Society Communications & Education Coordinator 920- 303 -3166 Live Your Best Life When you die, God & the angels will hold you accountable for all the pleasiw•es you were allowed in life that yort denied yourself.
