Per our Telcon of Friday, May 17, 2013 we would like to request that permission be granted to extend the 2013 Oshkosh Saturday Farmers Market by one week. The new proposed closing day of the Summer Market would be October 26` 2013. Our Insurance Policy already covers the entire Calendar Year. We realize we will incur additional Extraordinary Expenses for that additional date, above and beyond the estimate already given us. We hope to get some Chili Cook -Off funding to help with that, the BMVASCAP licensing, and the cost of the musicians; but we are prepared to cover those costs as a contribution to the Chil- Cook -Off. The additional date has been requested by the Chili Cook -Off Committee of the BID (Chandra Anderson, Chair) in order to enhance that event. In the past Downtown Trick -or- Treating was held in conjunction with the Cook -Off which led us to stop the Market on the T Saturday in October in order to not conflict with Trick or Treating times. The BID has decided to hold Downtown Trick -or- Treating on October 31 so that conflict no longer exists. Please let us know at the Council's earliest convenience whether this has been approved so that we can find musicians and notify our 225- vendors.
