HomeMy WebLinkAbout16. 13-195 APRIL 23, 2013 13-195 RESOLUTION (CARRIED___7-0__ LOST_______ LAID OVER_______ WITHDRAWN_______) PURPOSE: ESTABLISH VOTING WARD 36, DISTRICT 7 INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of the City of Oshkosh to adopt and maintain a municipal ward plan for elections within the City and, WHEREAS, wards are created for each geographical area containing the same voting subunit for County Supervisor, State Assembly, State Senate and Congressional representatives; and, WHEREAS, the Town of Algoma Zone “A” Attachments became effective March 2013, bring those properties into the City of Oshkosh for election purposes; and WHEREAS, two properties do not fit within any existing voting ward in the City of Oshkosh. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that there is hereby established Ward 36 of District 7 of the City of Oshkosh consisting of a portion of the Town of Algoma Zone “A” Attachments, as described in the attached exhibit to this Resolution.
