Item# 1 Code MUN 16-33A(7) Complies No Comply By 09/25/2012 IMMEDIATELY Description All dwelling units, vacant or occupied, shall be provided with working, approved smoke detectors one each in the basement first and second floors. Common area smoke detectors(basements) are the sole responsibility of the property owner. The owner shall replace batteries once per year or at the beginning of new tenancies. Written responsibilities shall be given to the occupants concerning smoke detectors. Item# 2 Code ss 101.647 Complies No Comply By 09/25/2012 IMMEDIATELY Description The owner of a dwelling shall install a functional carbon monoxide detector in the basement of the dwelling and on each floor level except the attic, garage, or storage area of each dwelling unit. Except as provided under par. (b)the occupant of the dwelling unit shall maintain any carbon monoxide detector in that unit. (b) If any occupant gives written notice to the owner that the carbon monoxide detector is not functional,the owner shall provide,within 5 days after receipt of that notice, any maintenance necessary to make that carbon monoxide detector functional. Item# 3 Code MUN 16-33A(9) Complies No Comply By 09/25/2012 IMMEDIATELY Description All living unit entryways shall be equipped with solid core doors in good condition and deadbolt locks installed as defined in Section 16-22 OMC. Deadbolt on entrance door is not working properly. Bolt sticks. Repair or replace the deadbolt. Complies No Comply By 09/25/2012 IMMEDIATELY Item# 4 Code MUN 16-35A(3) P Description Cracked/damaged/leaking fixtures or other plumbing conditions,which create un-sanitary conditions or unusable fixtures, shall be replaced/repaired by a licensed plumber with permit. Repair the leak on the kitchen sink. Item# 5 Code MUN 16-35A(1)(a) Complies No Comply By 10/19/2012 Description Every floor,floor covering,wall, ceiling, kitchen counters&tops,cupboards&exterior doors etc shall be kept in good repair. Repair the damaged sections of the ceiling and wall in the bedroom. It appears that there was a leak in that area-make a repair if it is still leaking. Replace the missing deawer front on the bathroom cabinet. Paint the repaired wall section in the bathroom. Replace the missing glass on the entrance door. Item# 6 Code MUN 16-34A(1) Complies No Comply By 10/19/2012 Description Every dwelling unit shall have heating facilities which are capable of safely and adequately heating all habitable rooms and bathrooms to a temperature of at least 67 degrees F with an outside temperature of minus 15 degrees without forcing the heating system. All habitable rooms to be supplied with adequate heat sources. All heating shall be in operation to maintain this minimum during all occupied periods. If you are unable to make the necessary repairs by the listed compliance date(s), please submit a schedule of corrections to be made, along with competion dates. Submitting a schedule can result in extended periods of time to make repairs on those items not Life/Safety issues.
