As I indicated to you during my recent inspection,the City has allowed walk up attics in garages
in the past, but as previously defined the attic must he with in the confm s'of the roof framing.
The.upper story of your garage is within the confines of the roof framing and second story walls.
With this in mind your garage must be brought into npane��the definition of a l story
garage.
I would also like to take this time to renn"nd you that it is your right to apply for a variance from
the Board of Zoning Appeals for a variance from this standard. if you would like more
information on this procedure,please call Bruce Roskom, Principal Pl=er, at 236-5059. In the
mean time no further work is to continue on this garage, except for alterations to bring the garage
into compliance with the l story rcquirements. Once this is accomplished please call this office
at 236-5045 to arrange for an inspection to verify compliance and thin this office will clear the
project for continued constructions
