HomeMy WebLinkAboutBID Manager's Report BID Manager Report January 2013 Priorities for the Month: Send out communication about events and promotional opportunities via email to mass list  Send out January Newsletter  Continue to promote the downtown gift card program via social networks  Update website with new pictures, pages, and events  Finalize Heart of Winter advertisements and website updates  Hire new BID spring intern  Collect and submit all billing invoices and payments to the City to close out the 2012 books  Committee Reports: Marketing Consortium Put together the monthly agenda  Sent out prior minutes and agenda  Sent out invoice for 2013 membership  Attended the monthly meeting  Met with Chair of Heart of Winter Celebration  Met with New Chair and Vice Chair of Marketing Consortium  Beautification Committee Met with new banner contractor  Met with new contracted services contractor  Other Highlights Attended a Special Permit Meeting  Attend Social Hub on how to take advantage of all social media channels  Review Gift Card Reporting on a daily basis  Review Google Analytics and keywords on a weekly basis  Monthly newsletter can now be found on the website  Downtown directory changes are being made (should print end Feb.)  Other Projects in the Works In the process of putting together a new RFP cover letter for 2014  Collecting information on the new hotel for the website  Collecting information on financial assistance programs that other BIDs offer  Coordinating specific monthly promos for the gift card program in 2013  Featured gift card participant of the month o Scheduling individual meetings with business owners 
