Items 1-4,6 and 10 have not been corrected. Item# 1 Code NFC 10.10.8 Complies No _ Comply By 06/19/2012 IMMEDIATELY Description A vent connector shall be installed without any dips or sags and shall slope upward toward the vent or chimney at least 1/2 in./ ft. Venting for the water heater does not meet the slope requriement. Replace the rusted elbow at the draft hood. Item# 2 Code NFC 10.10.7 Complies No _ Comply By 06/19/2012 IMMEDIATELY Description Joints between sections of connector piping and connections to flue collars or draft hood outlets shall be fastened with sheet metal screws or other approved means. Install screws where missing at connections. When equipment is disconnected from an outlet and the outlet is not to be used again immediately, it shall be closed gastight. Cap off the unsued gas connection in the basement. Remove the sump hose from the floor drain. If a sump pump is needed it is requried to drain to the exterior of the building. Windows shall be free of chipped, peeling paint, loose or missing glazing compound, broken panes of glass and be weather tight. Windows are leaking due to bad glazing or caulking. Item# 9 Code MUN 16-35A(2) Complies No Comply By 07/12/2012 Description Every outside stair, every porch, every guardrail and every appurtenance thereto shall be so constructed as to be safe to use and capable of supporting the load that normal use would cause to be placed thereon, and shall be kept in sound condition & good repair. Handrail/guardrail is missing from the back stairs. The dead tree in the back yard is requried to be cut down and removed. Summary It is the responsibility of every property owner to confirm compliance with these orders before the compliance date(s)as specified. Please contact this office on or before the scheduled due date(s)to schedule a re-inspection of the property. Violations must be corrected and approved by the noted compliance dates of each item. Call for reinspections prior to concealment and/or occupancy.
