VAPOR RETARDER:
Required on the warm-in-winter side of ell non-vented framed
ceilings, walls, and floors.
MATERIALS IDENTIFICATION:
Materials and equipment must be identified so that compliance can
be determined. Manufacturer manuals for all installed heating
and cooling equipment and service water heating equipment ~ust be
provided. Znsulation R-values, glazin~ U-values, and heating
equipment efficiency must be clearly marked on the building plans
or specifications.
DUCT INSULATION:
Ducts in unconditioned spaces must be insulated to a minimum of R-5
(COMM 22.17).
TEMPERATURE CONTROLS:
[ ] Thermostats are required for each separate [WAC system. A manual or
automatic means to partially restrict or shut o~f the heating arid/or
cooling input to each zone or floor shall be provided [COMM 22.15).
HUMIDITY CONTROL:
