P. MOTION TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION (City Manager's Office, Room 101, City Hall)
The Council may convene into Closed Session to discuss bargaining options,
strategy, and parameters related to the negotiation of collective bargaining
agreements with Oshkosh Professional Police Officers Association, Oshkosh
Police Supervisors Association, Oshkosh Fire Department Chief Officers and
AFSCME 796 (Transit) pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(e) of the Wisconsin State
Statutes where competitive bargaining reasons require a closed session, and;
• The Common Council may convene into Closed Session pursuant to Sections
19.85(1)(e) and 19.85(1)(g) of the Wisconsin State Statutes for the purposes of
negotiating the acquisition of public property required for stormwater detention basin
construction in the area of STH 91 /James Road where competitive and bargaining
reasons require a closed session and conferring with legal counsel for the
governmental body who is rendering advice concerning strategy to be adopted with
respect to litigation in which it is likely to become involved relative to the purchase of
property and easements for these projects.
