NOW,THEREFORE,it is agreed by and between the parties to this agreement that the CITY shall provide one (1) two-person paramedic ambulance to be present at Lake Breeze Golf Club - during the Cross Country Event on Saturday, October 13.from 10:00 a.rri. to 1:00 p.m.; and on • Saturday, November 10.from 10:30 a,m. to 1:30 p.m. The:paramedic unit shall be primarily responsible for providing first aid and response to medical emergencies. IT IS FURTHER AGREED that U WO shall pay$92 per hour for the ambulance.Billed time . will commence.30 minutes prior to the start of stand-by and end 30 minutes after the termination of stand-by.Any additional hours requested or required to provide adequate service in the sole opinion of the Duty Chief for the City of Oshkosh Fire Department,shall be added to the preschcduled stand- by hours and billed at the same hourly rate,if for any reason the event is cancelled,a three(3)hour minimum will be aharged.if the event is not cancelled at leant twelve(12)hours before the scheduled start time. • . Pie-event cancellations shall be made by calling(920)236.5240 between 8:00 a.m.and 4:30 p.m.Monday through Friday or(920)236-5271 at other times. The CITY shall invoice UWO Inter-Collegiate Athletics, c/a Susie Gustkc, 800 Algoma Blvd.,Oshkosh,WI 54901 following each event,with payment to bemade within 30 days of receipt . of invoice;Failure to timely pay an invoice shall be a breach of this agreement. All patients requiring transport by the Oshkosh Fire Department ambulance will bebilled for services rendered according to the CITY's usual and customary procedures end rates for service. Consistent with the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin, each party to this contractagrees to • assume liability for. the Wrongful acts or omissions of its employees or agents while they are . functioning within the scope of their employment or agency,and h old the other harmless for such liability,. • Tho Board of Regents for the University of Wisconsin System agreea to provide liability • protection for its officers, employees and agents while acting within the scope of their • employment.
