HomeMy WebLinkAboutBID Manager's Report BID Manager Report August 2012 Priorities for the Month: Upload website content to the new host site  Ordered gift cards for program  Work on putting together RFP for beautification contract services 2013  Put together informational packets for businesses on the gift card program  Monitor BID intern  Put in place all advertising medias for the month, as well as billing information  Submit all billing invoices and payments to the City  Committee Reports: Marketing Consortium Put together the monthly agenda  Sent out prior minutes and agenda  Attended the monthly meeting  Specified what my roles within the Marketing Consortium and events no longer will  include Passed out downtown directories  Events Attended an individual meeting with Beth Olson (Chair of Halloween event)  Beautification Committee Held our monthly meeting  Confirmed delivery of 8 smaller bike racks  In the process of putting together an RFP for the beautification services for the 2013 year  Received confirmation of a funding donation from the Foundation for the holiday  planters Met with Jane and Mark from the Senior Center  Coordinated signage for the flower planters  Took pictures of the flower planters to have on file for expectations for next year  Monitor watering of the flower planters  Branding Committee Met with Matt from Blue Door to go over website program training and Mail Chimp  program for the newsletter Sent out the August newsletter  Finishing the uploading of all website pages and pictures  Entering Search Engine Optimization words for each page  RFG Committee Contacted Megan from Bartelt Acupuncture in regards to the $2,650 granted to her in  March Attended Darabosh Accounting open house  Other Highlights Gave an update on Downtown happenings and the website at the OAEDC Board meeting  Attended a Special Permit Meeting  Attended an Revolving Loan Fund meeting in regards to Frugal Fashion  Other Projects in the Works Gift Card Program  Signing up businesses with the goal to launch the program by the end of o September Put together a Recruitment/Welcome packet for 2013  Start looking at an advertising plan for the 2013 year  Collection of email addresses for event notifications 
