The sediment logs(which are acting as your perimeter control BMP's)are not fully installed along the site adjacent to the city right-of-way. These sediment logs need to be overlapping to form a continuous barrier to site runoff. Please repair your sediment logs to form a continuous barrier around your site per the manufactures recommended installation technique. Also, your inlet protection adjacent to your project area in the city right-of-way needs attention. Please refer to the inspection report and map for corrective measures and locations of the defective inlet protection. Your inlet protection needs to comply with DNR technical standard 1060(Storm Drain Inlet Protection for Construction Sites). This construction site is governed by the rules and regulations of the State of Wisconsin,Department of Safety& Professional Services along with the City of Oshkosh municipal code. In particular, Section SPS 360.20 of the State Administrative Code and Chapter 14 of the City of Oshkosh Municipal Code. As an Agent Municipality, the City of Oshkosh is authorized to enforce SPS 360.20 of the State Administrative Code along with enforcement of Chapter 14 of the City of Oshkosh Municipal Code. We prefer to work with you to bring the site into compliance with the Erosion Control Plan, and not to have to issue citations. Therefore,we are asking you make the above corrections by August 8th,2012. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Sincerely, Kris Lyons,CPESC.
