HomeMy WebLinkAbout17. 12-363 JULY 10, 2012 12-363 ORDINANCE FIRST READING (CARRIED________ LOST___2-5_____ LAID OVER________ WITHDRAWN_______) TH PURPOSE: DESIGNATION OF ONE WAY STREET – A PORTION OF 7 AVENUE – WEST OF LILAC STREET INITIATED BY: COUNCIL MEMBERS PECH & HALL A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTION 27A-9 OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO ONE WAY STREETS, AVENUES, AND BOULEVARDS The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 27A-9 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to one way streets, avenues, and boulevards is hereby amended as follows: th Add Thereto: 7 Avenue from Lilac Street to 107 feet west of the centerline of Lilac Street, for westbound traffic. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its th passage and publication; relocation of the intersection of 7 Avenue and Koeller Street; and installation of the appropriate traffic control devices as approved by the Board of Public Works. SECTION 3. Publication Notice. Please take notice that the City of Oshkosh enacted ordinance #12-XXX (A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTION 27A-9 OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO ONE WAY STREETS, AVENUES, AND BOULEVARDS), on July 10, 2012. The th ordinance would designate a portion of 7 Avenue from Lilac Street to 107 feet west of the centerline of Lilac Street as one-way for westbound traffic.
