HomeMy WebLinkAboutBID Manager's Report BID Manager Report June 2012 Priorities for the Month: Collect and put together website content for the website test run  Monitor contractor for beautification  Meet with potential RFG clients  Introduce myself to new downtown business owners  Train and monitor BID intern  Research other local Downtown associations and BIDs  Put in place all advertising medias for the month, as well as billing information  Submit all billing invoices and payments to the City  Committee Reports: Marketing Consortium Met with the chair and vice-chair to put together the monthly agenda  Sent out prior minutes and agenda  Assisted with promotional piece for the Gus Macker player bags  Assisted with Destination Downtown feedback survey  Events Attended individual meetings with BID Board members for clarification and possible  changes of our current BID events Beautification Committee Ordered 8 smaller bike racks for placement on Main Street  Did a walk through with City staff for placement of way finding signs  In the process of coordinating the ordering and implementation of more trash receptacles  Worked with our new plant supplier and the Senior Center on planting day  Coordinated billing with the Senior Center and Water Distribution Center  Updated the planter location map  In the process of coordinating holiday décor ideas for the planters  Branding Committee Met with Matt from Blue Door to go over content, timeline, and website/newsletter  program training Finalized content for the Downtown Directory  Finalized RFG brochure  Updated the Flicker account  Revised spreadsheet of open lease/sale buildings within the BID  Put together a spreadsheet of living spaces within the Downtown area  Put together information for our BID partners page  Reviewed any content information submitted by my intern  Ordered and received new letterhead, envelopes, and business cards  RFG Committee Updated and revised the current RFG application  Darabosh Accounting  Recommended $3,000 by RFG committee o Other Highlights Attended Fox Cities Business Expo  Gave a brief update on Downtown happenings at the OAEDC Board meeting  Attended the Gus Macker and Farmer’s Market on June 2nd  Other Projects in the Works Gift Card Program  Met with Cornerstone and US Bank about account set up o Put together a financial sheet for program startup costs o BID Event Planning for 2013  Possible year end survey for downtown business owners 
