Item # 1 Code Mun Code 11 -44 Complies No Comply By 05/1712012 Description Should any electrical equipment be found unsafe or dangerous to persons or property, the person owning or using such electrical equipment shall be notified in writing by the Electrical Inspector the need to make the equipment safe. Failure to comply with such notice within the time specified shall be sufficient cause for the Electrical Inspector to disconnect electrical service to said equipment. Main breaker and associated lugs are corroded. Item # 2 Code Mun Code 11 -22 Complies No Comply By 05/17/2012 Description Electricians licensed with the city required to do wiring on any building that is not a single family residence owned and occupied by the owner. Wiring done for the purpose of rental or sale of such residences is also limited to a licensed electrician Item # 3 Code NFPA 54 6.7.2 Complies No Comply By 05117/2012 Description Gas piping shall be capped to prevent accidental release of gas. No gas appliances are present on the premises, gas distribution system is unfinished /taken apart. Item # 4 Code Mun code 20- 8(A)(2) Complies No Comply By 0511712012 Description A plumbing permit may be issued only to persons duly licensed to do plumbing work under the laws of Wisconsin and under the provisions of this chapter, and such other persons who are entitled to a permit under the laws of the State of Wisconsin. A licensed plumber is required to apply for permits to do plumbing work in commercial buildings rentals, homes for sale, etc. 18971 Page 1 of 2 Item # 5 Code Mun Code 7 -48 Complies No Comply By 05/1712012 Description State Statute 66.0413 (unfit for human habitation) Razing Buildings is adopted and incorporated into this code by reference (without electricity, a working source of heat, running water and plumbing facilities) Summary Please contact an electrician to correct the problem in the next 30 days. Call for reinspections prior to concealment and /or occupancy. Upon completing the corrections, the owner /contractor /agent must sign and date at the bottom of this notice and return it to the Inspection Services Division by the Compliance Date of 5/17/2012 Office hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or by appointment.
