HomeMy WebLinkAboutBID Manager's Report Oshkosh Area Economic Development Corporation Downtown Oshkosh Business Improvement District REPORT December 2011 Accomplishments  BID Marketing Consortium Prepared for the monthly meeting  Worked with Chair of Consortium for planning purposes  Sent out prior minutes and agenda to all marketing consortium members  Put together advertising layout of expenses  Collected Contributions/Event Contributions  Coordinated billing functions with city  Developed and distributed the Newsletter through Constant Contact  Put together 2012 Ballot for Vice Chair and Membership Chair  Assisted at the Kid’s Old Fashioned Christmas Event at the Grand  Worked with other Marketing Consortium members on the new Heart of  Winter Celebration event  Beautification Reviewed 2011 budget  Held our monthly beautification meeting  Updated the current contract  Met with Jeff Nau on beautification elements for the Request for Proposal  Reviewed and approved billing for Ground Effects  Placed order for more holiday banners  Discussed payment options with the OACF  Coordinated with the Parks department and Ground Effects for the holiday  decorations Coordinated with the City Electrician for all the holiday lights  Put together a Request for Proposal to be sent out via the City’s purchasing  dept.  RFG Met with 1 potential client  Updated PDF on the Downtown and City website   Other Organized branding efforts for the next phase (website)  Worked with several advertisers for the 2012 advertising budget  Organized block captains to hand out the branding materials  Ordered Destination Downtown bags for the 2012 year  Attended OAEDC Board Meeting  Phone interview with In-Sight Magazine regarding the branding  Attended Business After Hours at the Grand  Guest on WOSH Morning News Focus   Responded/made an estimated 24 informational calls, questions and concerns in regards to Downtown BID  Attended/Held an estimated 35 meetings  Managed day to day activities of the BID
