Introduction Upon receiving a neighborhood complaint it was noted that construction has commenced without obtaining the required
building permit to replace the front stairs.

Description No building or structure or any part thereof shall be moved, built, enlarged, altered, or demolished within the City unless a
permit is obtained. There is no permit on record for stair replacement at this address.
Item # 2 Code COMM 21.04(3)(c) Compliance No Compliance Date 07/30/2002 IMMEDIATELY
Description 21.04(3)(c) A landing (min. 3'x3) shall be provided at the top or base of a stairs, regardless of the direction of swing. The
exterior landing or platform at an exterior doorway shall be located a maximum of 8 inches below the interior floor elevation.
Summary The permit must be applied for within the next 10 days to avoid citations. Permit hours are Monday - Friday 7:30- 8:30am and
