and return it to the Inspection Services Division by the Compliance Date of 03/27/2003
Introduction Upon receiving a neighborhood complaint it was noted that construction has commenced without obtaining the required
building permit to replace the front stairs. It should also be noted that the construction does not comply with current building
codes.This is your second notice
Item # 1 Code MUN 7 -8 Compliance No Compliance Date 03/12/2003 IMMEDIATELY
Description No building or structure or any part thereof shall be moved, built, enlarged, altered, or demolished within the City unless a
permit is obtained. There is no permit on record for stair replacement at this address.
Item # 2 Code COMM Compliance No Compliance Date 03/27/2003
Description A landing (min. 3'x3') shall be provided at the top or base of a stairs, regardless of the direction of swing. The exterior landing
or platform at an exterior doorway shall be located a maximum of 8 inches below the interior floor elevation.
Summary The permit must be applied for within the next 10 days to avoid citations. Please correct the above violations and request a
re inspection within the next 30 days. Office hours are Monday- Friday 7:30- 8:30am and 12:30- 1:30pm.lf you have questions
