This 4,800 square foot building will provide for storage of Oshkosh Fire Department ancillary vehicles, equipment and trailers. ANALYSIS Working in conjunction with the project architect and Fire Department personnel, Purchasing reviewed and prepared bid specifications for the building construction work of this project. Bids were advertised in the local paper and opened on July 14, 2011. The bid tab is attached with three bids. A fourth bid was rejected for not meeting bid specifications. After reviewing the bids, it is the consensus of the project architect and City staff that the low bid of $150,424.00 from Morton Buildings, Inc. met the bid specifications for the construction of this building. FISCAL IMPACT The fiscal impact of this building construction bid is $150,424 and would be charged to account number 323 - 0230 - 7214 - 06017.
