REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH, WISCONSIN JUNE 15, 2011 11-08 RESOLUTION (CARRIED_______ LOST _______ LAID OVER _______ WITHDRAWN _______) PURPOSE: APPROVE DEVELOPMENT
BUDGET & SCHEDULE FOR REHABILITATION OF 851 SOUTH MAIN STREET (FORMER MILES KIMBALL 4-STORY WHITE BUILDING AT THE INTERSECTION OF SOUTH MAIN STREET AND 9TH AVENUE WHEREAS, the Redevelopment
Authority previously approved a Development Agreement with MK-1 LLC and MK-2 LLC, as amended, for redevelopment of the former Miles Kimball corporate headquarters block bounded by South
Main Street, Nebraska Street, West 8th Avenue and West 9th Avenue in phases; and WHEREAS, the first phase of construction of multi-family townhouse buildings has been completed; and
WHEREAS, the developer now desires to move forward with the renovation of the existing 4-story building at 851 South Main Street; and WHEREAS, the developer has prepared a development
budget, construction schedule, and development plans, per the Development Agreement, for the Redevelopment Authority’s review and approval; and WHEREAS, upon approval of the proposed
budget and construction schedule, the property can be transferred to MK-2 LLC. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Oshkosh that the attached MK
Apartments development budget, construction schedule and development plans for 851 South Main Street are consistent with the approved Development Agreement, as amended, and are hereby
approved and the proper Redevelopment Authority officials are authorized and directed to execute all documents necessary to convey the parcel to MK-2 LLC.
