REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH, WISCONSIN JUNE 15, 2011 11-06 RESOLUTION (CARRIED_______ LOST _______ LAID OVER _______ WITHDRAWN _______) PURPOSE: AWARD BID FOR PEDESTRIAN
LIGHT POLES AND PATHWAY BOLLARDS FOR MARION ROAD RIVERWALK TO VIKING ELECTRIC SUPPLY ($63,893) WHEREAS, the City of Oshkosh and the Redevelopment Authority have heretofore advertised
for bids for light poles and pathway bollards along the riverwalk corridor for the Marion Road riverwalk area and the City Center riverwalk area; and WHEREAS, that portion of the bid
under the Redevelopment Authority’s review is only for the Marion Road riverwalk area; and WHEREAS, upon the opening and tabulation of bids it appears that the following was the sole
bid received: VIKING ELECTRIC SUPPLY 2755 Atlas Avenue Oshkosh, WI 54904 TOTAL BID -LIGHT POLES $ 68,236 TOTAL BID -PATHWAY BOLLARDS $ 41,685 And the bid amounts attributable to the
Marion Road riverwalk area are: BID – LIGHT POLES $ 34,118 BID – PATHWAY BOLLARDS $ 29,775 TOTAL MARION ROAD RIVERWALK $ 63,893 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Authority
of the City of Oshkosh that said bid for the Marion Road riverwalk light poles and pathway bollards is hereby accepted and the proper Redevelopment Authority officials are hereby authorized
and directed to enter into an appropriate agreement for the purpose of same, all according to plans, specifications, and bid on file. Money for this purpose is hereby appropriated from
City TIF accounts.
