Dead Battery
All dwelling units, vacant or occupied, shall be provided with working,
approved smoke detectors one each in the basement first and second floors.
Common area smoke detectors (basements) are the sole responsibility of the
property owner. The owner shall replace batteries once per year or at the
beginning of new tenancies. Written responsibilities shall be given to the
occupants concerning smoke detectors.
