II. 1310 MORGAN AVENUE - Kurt Koeppler, agent for David Willeford
Ms. Moore explained the applicant is requesting a variance to place an off - premise
sign in an R -1 district; whereas Section 30- 31(E)(2)(k) of the City of Oshkosh
Zoning Ordinance permits off - premise signs in M -1 Light Industrial, M -3 Heavy
Industrial and limited areas along Hwy "41 ".
Discussion ensued on whether to deny or lay over the item since no applicant was
present to answer any questions.
Ms. Moore stated regardless of what kind or quality of sign this would be setting
a precedence.
Motion by Ruhl to move approval of the variance as requested. Seconded by Neu.
Motion denied 0 -4.
Regarding the findings of fact, Mr. Ruhl stated there is already a sign for the
existing properties. He still has the option to sell.
Mr. McGee stated he has not established a hardship.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
