Building, Heating, Ventilation, and Illumination plans have been reviewed by this
office for compliance with important code requirements. The drawings are stamped
"Construction may proceed." All items that are required to be changed by this
letter must be corrected before commencing that part of the work. This approval
is not a Building Permit. Necessary city permits must be secured before comm-
encing work.
You are hereby advised that the owner, as defined in Chapter 101.01(i) of the
Wisconsin State Statutes, is responsible for all code requirements not specifically
cited herein. Code requirements are set forth in Chapters 50 through 64 of the rules
of the Department of Industry, Labor and Human Relations.
The building will be inspected during construction and a final inspection will be made
after completion to insure complete compliance with city and state codes.
The architect, professional engineer, builder or owner shall keep at the building, as
evidence of approval, one set of plans beating the stamp of approval.
ILHR 56.06 A means to prevent accumulation of snow and ice in the sliding glass door
tractk or freezing of the door shall be provided.
ILHR 52.04 Walks, ramps, platforms, and thresholds shall be provided in accordance
to ILRH 52.04 in order that access to the primary floor may be obtained.

IV. REVIEW AUL3ORITY
The Planning Director, or appropriate designee, must approve all plans, except
the hollowing: (1) Alterations or interior work when the use is conforming and
when no change of use is proposed. (2) Maintenance items, e.g., siding, windows,
etc., when the use is =forming and when no change of use is proposed.
Instances where work complies with the above criteria, the permit can be reviewed
by the Building Inspector without referral to the Planning
Director.

Plans have been submitted to the Department of Industry, Labor & Human Relations, Safety and Buildings Division, and all information
requested by Code Ind. 50.12 or Ind. 50.13 has been included with the submittal.
We have reviewed the specific code requirements for the building or structure and its use, as set forth in lnd. 50 -64, and, where applicable,
have shown compliance on the drawings.
We agree to make any changes required after the plans have been reviewed and to remove or replace noncode complying parts of the foun-
dation and or footings.
We agree to proceed with the footings and foundation only and will not continue with the remainder of the building or structure until
approval has been received.
We understand that, prior to the start of construction, a Building Permit must be obtained from the local authorities having jurisdiction in
accordance with their laws and ordinances.
