Dear Sirs
It was noted that the boiler rooms at 946 and
958 West 20th Avenue and at 1135 and 1209 Moreland
Street were still not completed as of September 21,
1966. The necessary corrections involve the cover -
ing of exposed wood, patching holes and lapping
points. Since our original order on the Moreland
Street apartments dates back to April 26, 1966,
we must definitely have these items corrected on
• or before November 11, 1966.

GENTLEMEN: A recent inspection of the new apartment buildings at
1135 & 1209 Moreland Street
discloses violations of the following sections of the General Ordinances
of the City of Oshkosh.
SECTION LOCATION & NEEDED CORRECTIONS
Ind. 57.20 Boiler room - tape points and close all holes in
5/8" gypsum board on ceilings & walls.
Gypsum board should be ren.iled to comply with
Underwriter's Laboratories, Inc. requirements for
nailing. (1 7/8 ", 6d, Coated common nails, nailed
not more than 7" o.c.) Both sides of wall must be
covered to form enclosure.
Ihd. 59.67 & 52.12 Provide Clearance between boiler vent and Combustible
material equal tol'times the pipe diameter, or use
type "3" vent material with 1" clearance.
Ind. 59.60 Provide co:i.bustion air intake to 'boiler room - located
at least 12" above outside grade and provided with
NN " size or less screening.
The above violations shall be corrected on or before May o, 1966
At the time of inspection these violations were pointed out to

at 946 & 958 West 20th Avenue
discloses violations of the following sections of the General Ordinances
of the City of Oshkosh.
SECTION LOCATION & NEEDED CORRECTIONS
Ind. 57.20 Boiler room • Tape points and close all holes
in 5/8 gypsum board on ceilings end walls.
The exposed wood in this room should also be
covered with material rated for one hour
construction.
