3. All penetrations in e�cterior walls must be sealed prior to the insulation ins tion. This
includes holes in the top and bottom plates, gaps azound heating ducts, an holes in the
return air spaces.
4. Smoke detectors aze required on every floor and within 6'of all bedrooms The smoke
detectors aze required to be hazdwired and interconnected.
5. Hydromassage tubs are required to have an access panel to motor. The ac ess panel must
be accessible without removing the finish of the house.
6. All over&aming must be designed by the truss manufacturer,according to tandazds set
by the truss piate institute,or structural calculations must be provided prio to the rough
building inspection.
7. Truss plans must be submitted and approved prior to framing the roof.
8. Truss plans including the truss layout must be provided on site at the rou building
inspection. In addition to the truss plans,microlam calculations must be p ovided on site
at the rough building inspection for a11 microlams with point loads on the .
9. Calculations must be provided for all cantilevered floors with point loads. Floor trusses �
and TJI's must be designed for the cantilevered areas. �

� 10. The property owner and applicant is responsible for compliance with IL 21.125 a�-c�

� (Erosion Control). When installing access drives, a minimum of 2"-3" di eter stone is
required in addition to a minimum of 6" depth, 30'-50'length,and 14'-20'width. Erosion �
� control measures must be maintained until the lawn is established.

� 12. The building placazd must be posted on site at all times. Once the rough aming is up �
� the placard must be posted on the patio door or on a kitchen window. If e placard is not �
; present at any inspection, stop work orders will be posted. Additional pl ards can be �
; obtained through our department if the cards aze misplaced. �
13. All mechanicals must be roughed in prior to requesting the rough buildin inspection. If
on the inspection the mechanicals are not roughed in,the inspection will '1 and a$100
re-inspection fee will be charged.
14. Attached is a copy of the final inspection checklist. At the final inspectio all items on
this list must be completed to avoid the$100 re-inspection fee per inspec 'on.
15. When requesting fmal inspections please note that a minimum of 2 days otice is needed
from the time the inspection is ready. Furniture is only allowed to be pl ed in the center
of the garage floor and a minimuxn of a 3'pathway must be provided aro d the walls of
the gazage. At the final inspection no furniture or personal belongings ar allowed in the
house. Appliances such as the stove,refrigerator,washer, and dryer are n t to be set in
place due to the electrical inspector needing to look at the power serving e appliances.
A 6' stepladder must be on site at the final inspection to provide access to the attic.
16. The building placard must remain on the patio door or on a kitchen wind w until �
occupancy is approved. Occupancy is not allowed prior to the placard ha ' g a11 of the �
final inspection approved stickers on the backside. If occupancy occurs p 'or to the �
inspections being approved daily citations will be issued with no further otice being
given.
17. All site grading must be done in accordance with the approved drainage p an on file in the
public works office, 3rd floor.
