1. 16 -35A (6) SAFE AND CLEAN DWELLING UNITS AND PREMISES. NO OWNER
SHALL RENT TO ANY OTHER PERSON FOR OCCUPANCY OR ALLOW ANY
PERSON TO OCCUPY ANY DWELLING UNIT UNLESS IT IS SAFE AND
CLEAN, AND COMPLIES WITH ALL PROVISIONS OF THE MINIMUM
HOUSING CODE AND PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE.

2. 7 -48 (A) Order of Building Inspector
The Building Inspector shall order the owner of premises upon which
is located any building or part thereof within the City, which in
the judgement of the Inspector is so old, dilapidated or has become
so out of repair or otherwise be in a condition as to be dangerous,
unsafe, insanitary, a fire hazard or otherwise unfit for human
habitation, occupancy or use, and so that it would be unreasonable
to repair the same, to raze and remove such building or part
thereof, or if it can be made safe by repair, to repair and make
safe and sanitary, or to raze or remove at the owner's option.
"Building" as used in this Section shall include any building or
structure.
IF THIS BUILDING IS TO BE REPAIRED, IT SHALL NOT BE OCCUPIED UNTIL
SUCH TIME A FINAL INSPECTION IS MAKE FOR OCCUPANCY AND AN OCCUPANCY
PERMIT IS ISSUED. IF THE BUILDING IS TO BE RAZED, A WRECKING PERMIT
WILL BE REQUIRED.
